Heritage International School

The Canadian Heritage Arts Society explicitly prioritizes inclusive access and community partnership. Since 1990, the organization has fostered partnerships benefiting diverse populations including persons with disabilities, groups facing systemic discrimination, seniors' care homes, and underserved communities. The Society offers relaxed, sensory-friendly performances adapted for neurodiverse patrons and those with sensory sensitivities, discounted community matinees, free student performances, and direct outreach to schools. This commitment reflects the organization's mission to "create meaningful connections between artists and the community through inclusive and creative experiences."

Parent and community involvement centers on a structured volunteer program where supporters contribute to front-of-house operations, ushering, administrative tasks, production support, and student engagement through events like Soup Night dinners. The organization is governed by a volunteer board that holds an open Annual General Meeting each fall.
